What is your maximum capacity?
We can accommodate up to 80 guests for daytime celebrations, including the ceremony and wedding breakfast, and up to 130 guests for your evening reception.
Can we have our ceremony at the venue?
Yes, King Street Townhouse is fully licensed to host civil wedding ceremonies within our beautifully appointed spaces.
Do you provide décor and entertainment?
Our event spaces come with a standard setup, including tables, chairs, linens, glassware, crockery, and cutlery. While we don't provide additional décor or entertainment, we have a curated list of trusted suppliers who can bring your vision to life. Are candles permitted?
Candles are welcome as part of your décor; however, for safety, they must be enclosed within holders that provide at least a 5cm clearance above the flame.
Do you allow external catering?
To ensure the highest quality and consistency, all catering is provided in-house by our talented culinary team.
Do we receive preferential room rates?
Absolutely. As part of your wedding package, you can reserve a selection of bedrooms at a preferential rate for both the night before and the night of your wedding. Please note that these bookings should be made directly through the wedding couple to access the special rates.
Can we arrange early check-in before the ceremony?
While standard check-in is from 3pm, we recommend booking a room for the night prior at the preferential rate if you or your guests wish to get ready at the hotel. This ensures a relaxed and unhurried start to your special day, subject to availability.
Can we use our own vendors instead of your recommended suppliers?
Yes, you are welcome to bring in your chosen suppliers. We kindly ask that all external vendors provide a copy of their Public Liability Insurance with a minimum coverage of £3 million, along with any necessary PAT testing certificates.
Is there parking available at the venue?
While King Street Townhouse does not have on-site parking, several public car parks are located nearby. We can provide a list of recommended options upon request, and with it's city centre location, there are numerous public transport routes round the corner.
Is the venue accessible for guests with mobility needs?
Yes, our facilities are fully accessible. If you or your guests have specific requirements, please inform our Weddings Team in advance so we can ensure all needs are met.
Will there be accommodation options for guests?
Yes, King Street Townhouse offers 40 luxurious bedrooms.
