Savour the best of both sweet and savoury with our Traditional Festive Afternoon Tea, featuring roast turkey and stuffing sandwiches, spiced pear and mascarpone cake, and a mulled winter berry roulade, and much more. Make it extra special with a sharing cocktail or a glass of Laurent-Perrier Brut Champagne.
Savoury High Tea
For those with a savoury palate, the Festive High Tea at King Street Townhouse offers an indulgent twist on the traditional afternoon tea. Served alongside an extensive tea selection, this experience replaces scones and cream with rich, handcrafted dishes such as braised beef cheek croquettine, turkey and stuffing burgers with gravy, and stilton and walnut stuffed mushrooms. Complete your celebration with a fine cheese selection, fig jam, and a sparkling festive cocktail.

The tea leaves used are among the finest available. Only first and second flush leaves, those picked in prime season from March to July go into Newby products. Dark Woods Coffee
Dark Woods Coffee is an adventurous coffee roaster, Barista school, and pop-up café nestled on the edge of Marsden village in the West Yorkshire Pennines.
Though Dark Woods was born in 2013, the history of its founding partners takes in many years’ experience in roasting, sourcing, consultancy, training and machine development within the UK coffee industry. It is this collective knowledge and expertise which allowed them to rapidly grow a customer base which includes some of the country’s top cafés and restaurants.
