Our pastry team has taken familiar Northern flavours rooted in nostalgia and reimagined them with refined technique and thoughtful storytelling. Savoury and sweet elements are artfully woven together in tribute to Manchester’s cultural icons, industrial heritage and resilient spirit.

Traditional Afternoon Tea
Our Traditional Afternoon Tea celebrates Manchester’s cultural icons and enduring symbols. A delicate Vimto Macaron nods to the city-born drink created in 1908, while a Honeycomb and Lemon Meringue Choux Bun, striped in black and yellow, honours the resilient worker bee emblem.
Served alongside a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, our Traditional Afternoon Tea is the perfect sweet treat. Make it extra special with a sharing cocktail or glass of Laurent-Perrier Brut Champagne.
Savoury High Tea
Our Savoury Afternoon Tea pays tribute to the North’s most beloved flavours and time-honoured favourites. A refined Tuna, Cucumber and Salt and Vinegar Mayonnaise Sandwich offer a contemporary take on a classic staple, while a Bury Black Pudding and Pork Scotch Egg celebrate the richness of regional produce.
Make it extra special with a sharing cocktail or glass of Laurent-Perrier Brut Champagne.

The world’s most awarded luxury tea brand, Newby was founded in London at the turn of the millennium.
The tea leaves used are among the finest available. Only first and second flush leaves, those picked in prime season from March to July go into Newby products. Newby prides itself on delivering a premium brand and the best teas available globally. Fulfilled only owing to a devoted and discerning process from field to cup, which Newby like to call, ‘the craft of fine tea.’

Founded in 1812, Laurent-Perrier is one of the most distinguished, family-owned Champagne Houses.
Based in the heart of the Champagne region in Tours-sur-Marne, Laurent-Perrier has a pedigree for handcrafting elegant champagnes using traditional and time-honoured methods. There are eight champagnes in the award-winning Laurent-Perrier range, from the iconic Cuvée Rosé to delicious Blanc de Blancs (Brut Nature) and the luxurious Grand Siècle by Laurent-Perrier. The champagne's style is one of freshness and lightness making it a superb accompaniment to an decadent afternoon tea spread.
Dark Woods Coffee
Dark Woods Coffee is an adventurous coffee roaster, Barista school, and pop-up café nestled on the edge of Marsden village in the West Yorkshire Pennines.
Though Dark Woods was born in 2013, the history of its founding partners takes in many years’ experience in roasting, sourcing, consultancy, training and machine development within the UK coffee industry. It is this collective knowledge and expertise which allowed them to rapidly grow a customer base which includes some of the country’s top cafés and restaurants.
