The best afternoon tea in Manchester.

Autumn is a season of quiet transformation, where the bright ease of summer gives way to deeper fruits, warming flavours and richer notes. With more thought given towards comforting indulgence. It's a time for slowing down with orchard fruits, dark berries and softening into the season with the gentle intensity of honey.

Playful contrasts of tangy pickles, punchy mustard and piquant sauerkraut cut through rich sandwich fillings, whilst dark fruits, gentle spice and a medley of textures bring our sweet selection to life, from the delicate Plum & Treacle Macaron to the warming Apple & Pear Crumble Tart. Every element is designed to capture the comfort of an English autumn.

An Afternoon Tea celebrating the turn of the season.

Afternoon tea served: 7 days a week | 12 – 6pm

Available from 7 September.

Traditional Afternoon Tea

Served alongside a selection of delicate finger sandwiches, our Traditional Afternoon Tea during The Harvest Hour captures the quiet comfort of an English autumn as the season begins to turn. Orchard fruits, dark berries and warming notes of treacle and caramel bring a refined interpretation to timeless afternoon tea traditions.

A Plum & Treacle Macaron pairs delicate almond shells with rich treacle and the deep sweetness of plum, for a nostalgic flavour reimagined in miniature, while a Tiramisu & Salted Caramel Cake layers espresso-soaked sponge with mascarpone and a ribbon of salted caramel, striking the balance between comfort and indulgence. To finish, an Apple & Pear Crumble Tart brings together buttery pastry, soft orchard fruit and a crumble topping, capturing the flavours of the season at their peak.

Elevate the occasion with our Orchard & Amber sharing teapot, a glass of Laurent-Perrier Brut Champagne, or our Laurent-Perrier Champagne Tasting Board for the table.

Savoury High Tea

The Harvest Hour Savoury High Tea brings warmth and depth to the season's savoury flavours, pairing British comfort food with refined, contemporary presentation. Familiar autumn ingredients are reimagined with elegant technique, balancing nostalgia with modern craftsmanship.

A Savoury Bread and Butter Pudding with Quicke's goats cheese and bacon jam offers a rich, indulgent take on a British classic, while a Mini Beef Burger with provolone, confit onion and a sesame roll brings playful, hearty comfort to the table. A Prawn Cocktail with gem lettuce and Espelette chilli lends a gentle warmth and freshness, complemented by a Caramelised Onion & Brie Palmier with honey and thyme glaze for a delicate, savoury-sweet finish. A Game & Pistachio Terrine with toasted sourdough and date completes the selection, before a choice of British cheeses is served to follow.

Make it extra special with a Bee's Knees cocktail echoing the golden, comforting notes of the season, or a glass of Laurent-Perrier Brut Champagne.

Afternoon Tea Drinks

Our Autumn Afternoon Tea Drinks & Cocktail Menu is inspired by the warmth and richness of the changing season, with amber tones and comforting flavours throughout.

A glass of Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée Champagne sets the tone, while our Laurent-Perrier Champagne Tasting Board invites you to explore the house's signature styles. Our sharing cocktail teapot, the Orchard & Amber, blends yuzu marmalade vodka, passionfruit, green tea and lemon, made for lingering over afternoon tea with friends.

For something served by the glass, the nostalgic Manchester Breakfast Martini and vibrant Chilli Hi Ball bring bold, contemporary character to the table, while our Bee's Knees pairs honey and cream for a golden, comforting finish. For a non-alcoholic option, the same flavours are captured in our Sharing Mocktail Teapot and individual mocktails, made with cloudy apple juice, orange and ginger ale.
